We had a fantastic day. Got up and started the day by taking Kirsten to Walmart for some stuff she needed. When we got home from that we got ready and took the boys to their soccer game. They won 2 to 1. It was a good game the teams were evenly matched and we had a good time. We got home, had lunch, got chores done, and we got the boys ready to go camping overnight and Kirsten ready for her day, she had a Marching Band competition and a dance afterwards. Dennis called in between to say hi. He was heading for New Jersey, and didn't know what direction he would be heading in after he got there. He didn't know if he would make it North or if he would be heading back either South or West again. Told the kids not to get their hopes up. I don't want to hurt their feelings or his, but he usually doesn't get loads coming in this direction. Kirsten left around 2pm, yes I let her take the car and leave it at the high school. Steve took the boys to the camp out around 1 or 1:30. While they were all doing that, I was working on decorating for Samhain. I think I have almost all of the stuff I have up. I still want to put up some more cobwebs, one skeleton, and I would love to add some ritual stuff to the enterage this year. However, the funds probably won't allow for it. The kids can put up the window decals when they get the chance later today. Then we went to the YMCA, I showed Steve around and we swam for a while, we met and talked to one of Kirsten's friends, and then we hit the hot tub and STeve tried out the Sauna, it is too hot in there for me. The air is really bad for my asthma. We came home, got dry and headed out for supper. We went to Weathervane and had a nice seafood supper. It was great. Neither of us had eaten all day and neither of us had to cook or clean up, so it was really nice. We went to Kerry's for a few to see what was going on there. Kaitlyn was all dressed up for the dance. She looked beautiful. She doesn't wear dresses and she should. She looked like quite the young lady. Her Mom took some pictures, I'd love to have one of them, just in case I never see the kid dressed up again. We came home, had some fun on the couch and then watched SAHARA. The movie was good. We then just had to wait for Kirsten to get home. She called to say the Seniors wanted to go to Dunkin Donuts, which is tradition after a Marching Band Competition, so I said she could, but she came home early stating that most of the seniors didn't go. Not that there are many in the band. She got home around 11:30pm and we were in bed and I'm pretty sure, asleep by 12. It was a great day.
I have to make the lasagna this morning to take to Nana's for the family get-together. I want to call Mom and Dad and see what time they are heading down and if they need any help. Steve will be picking up the boys, bringing them home, and then heading to Nana's. I don't know if we are going seperately or not, depends on the time frame. I still have homework to do that I can't figure out. I need to find time to review the chapter again. It is starting to annoy me. The book really doesn't give good descriptions, or I am just not getting it. That will be my evening project if I don't get it done before hand. I have passed in homework every single time, I don't plan to miss this one. Hoping to get my Macroeconomics test and my Personal Finance test back tomorrow so I can see how I did. I also want to know how I did on my Marketing test last week.
